Kona Lite 2024

Explore every step of the Hawaii Ironman course, complete a lap of the Big Island and compete in the Kona 70.3. What more could you ask for?


Epic Camp “lite” Kona is a unique opportunity to experience the legend that is the Big Island. If you aspire to qualify for the Ironman World Champs you can check out what that race is really about. Equally if qualifying is currently beyond your abilities not only do you get to cover the entire course in training and the 70.3, you also get a vacation in a spectacular part of the world.

Dates

  • Arrivals Friday 24th May 2024

  • Departures Sunday 2nd June 2024

What to expect

  • An Epic week of training. The first half of the week will be in Kona then down to the beautiful Mauna Lani.

  • A hell of a good time with likeminded athletes

  • Swim / Bike / Run the entire Ironman Course

  • A visit to the spectacular Volcano National Park

  • A fully supportive environment where you can excel. All you need to do is train, eat, sleep and absorb the knowledge from your fellow camp athletes and Coach John Newsom – our support crew take care of the rest

  • Race the Kona 70.3 on the final day of camp

The camp fee includes:

  • An epic experience like no other with a variety of amazing training on the big island

  • 9 nights accommodation (twin share)  

  • All food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, sports nutrition)

  • On road support

  • Sports Nutrition 

  • Epic Camp goodies

  • Airport & Race Transfers

The camp is limited to 22 athletes. First in first served

Athlete requirements

On our Kona camp we cater for athletes of all abilities. We will have a spread of athletes from Kona qualifyers to 14hr+ IM athletes. The main requirement is you turn up fit and strong in order to be able to handle several long rides including the 180km/112mile ride on the Ironman course
