Athelete Requirements

Our Epic Camps are designed to challenge super fit athletes to the maximum. If you are considering applying for Epic membership then bear in mind that most of the people attending the camp are of a very high standard with most in the 9-11 hour range for an Ironman. We endeavour to keep a group training environment for the most part and that’s much easier to do if every one is of a high standard. We’d rather not have any one tailing OTB (Off The Back) in misery if we can help it. It’s also impossible for the support crew to adequately look after every one if some are hours behind.

Since many of the camps involve a tremendous amount of vertical gain on the bike all athletes must be in approximately 5:30 IM bike shape or better and commit to fully preparing for 12 days of incredibly challenging riding on top of daily swimming and running.

If you do not have terrific Ironman credentials to send along with your application then persuade us with the reasons you are worthy!

Athletes will be issued invitations following a review of their athletic experience. 50% of the camp fee will be payable upon acceptance of the invitation.

Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis. Interested athletes should submit a copy of their Triathlon Resume to either Scott, Gordo or John.
